Europe baby

So remember when I thought I would be a good blogger? Well I've realized that I suck. Sorry. I know people are just dying to see the next post....... so here it is. It has been a pretty crazy month! I went to Europe with my team and my parents where we played 4 games and toured some of the coolest places I have ever seen. We went to Switzerland, Austria, and Prague. We saw some amazing things that pictures can't even do justice. Then I went back to California until my sister had her baby! Her name is Bailey May Weber and she is the most precious thing I have ever seen. Christy and Dan make incredible parents. I went to Utah to see my niece, as well as my man. We also moved our stuff into our new home! I am obsessed with it. Currently I am in California finishing wedding planning! Less than 3 weeks! I can't even believe it. I'm not gonna lie I practiced signing Carlee Holmoe the other day.. It needs a little bit of work. And yes I know I'm a dork. I am so excited though! Everything is all coming together for the wedding, but more importantly I will be sealed for eternity to the most amazing guy in the world. How did I ever get so lucky?

Here are a few pictures of my latest adventures! I'll post again on this thing soon! But no promises :)

Best night of my life!

WE'RE ENGAGED!!
I can't even believe this is real life. I haven't gotten off cloud nine, and I am not sure I ever will. I have never been so happy in my entire life. Danny is such an amazing guy and I am so lucky I get to spend the rest of forever with him.

How it happened:
So Danny told me he would pick me up for a date at around 7:45. He was asking me earlier that day what I wanted to do that night, or if I had any ideas for a date. I told him I didn't care, and because I don't like making decisions, I said it was up to him. Little did I know he had something else planned. He picked me up and started driving towards the canyons. He told me to close my eyes because he wasn't sure if we were going to be able to do his idea tonight, and if it didn't work, he would want to take me back and do it next week. So I had my eyes closed for at least 10 minutes, until we stopped and he got out of the car to come and get me. I had to still have my eyes closed as we walked through grass for a little bit. (I never cheated once.. so proud). We stopped and he told me I could open my eyes. We are standing in the middle of the BYU soccer field. I was absolutely shocked. He said some really perfect things, and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! He had a candle lit dinner set up with one of my favorite dinners.. gnocchi from Gloria's little Italy. I sat down with my fiance and had the best night of my life. I still can't even believe that I am engaged! The ring won't be ready for a couple weeks, but he proposed with a family heirloom. A beautiful ring that was his grandmas, from Athens greece that means eternal love. Such a GORGEOUS ring and can't stop looking at it. I am the happiest girl in the world.

We are getting married in the Oakland temple on June 16th!

'Hit me with your best shot'

Sooo, we're kind of tough. For date night, Danny and I went to the shooting range. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think it was going to be that scary. We told the guy we've never done it before, and then he handed us a gun, gave us a 2 minute spiel, and sent us on our way. Danny took a turn, hitting all his first 10 on target (which is also a little frightening) and I was still too scared so I made him keep going. Finally I gained some confidence and said I would try. Step by step, Danny walked me through what to do, making me pinky promise I wouldn't turn around to face him with the gun in my hand. I shot my first shot and dropped the gun. He would tell you that I threw it, but that part is debatable. It's a lot scarier than you'd think! Either way, we looked like BAMF'S.

Secondly, my brother Mike just opened his mission call! He is called to serve in the
Mexico Guadalajara East Mission. He leaves July 25th. I am so excited for him! I can't even believe my baby brother is going on a mission.

Halloween Costume? Might want to leave this one at home.

As for me? Im just hangin out. Doin my thang.

I think it's safe to say it was a successful weekend.

I blog to blog

Oops, I did it again. Myspace. Facebook. Twitter. Instagram. Pinterest. and now a BLOG. Social Media sucks you in. Well it obviously sucked me in, and whoever else is reading this thing. Oh wassup mom. So I have decided to start a personal blog. My most recent blog was of my experiences in India. DOT. I was looking at it the other day and realized what an amazing journal it is. So many wonderfully crazy things are happening in my life as we speak... so I figured it would be a good idea to start writing it down. Share it with whoever cares. So this is the start of my blog. I'm no master pinterest crafter. I'm no Rachel Ray. Nor am I a professional photographer or model. I am just Carlee being Carlee. I live in a cute little condo in Provo where I go to school and play soccer. My boyfriend happens to be my best friend. Head over heels. I have an amazing family and friends whom I adore. I want to share all the memories being created, and hopefully one day I'll write something cool enough to make you come back for more.
